Bio
I've always been the person asking "why?" until everyone else in the room is annoyed, so journalism was really the only career path where that trait is considered an asset rather than a nuisance. Growing up in Worcester, I developed a thick skin and a love for the gritty, complex stories that make New England tick. After cutting my teeth at the UMass student paper, I realized that the most impactful stories aren't always on the front page of the Timesโthey're happening at the school board meeting down the street. Currently, I'm working as a metro reporter in Springfield, trying to bridge the gap between traditional print reporting and the digital age. My days are a chaotic blur of chasing police scanners, sitting through three-hour city council meetings, and editing video packages in the back seat of my sedan. I'm passionate about holding power accountable, but I also love a good human interest feature about the weird and wonderful characters in the Pioneer Valley.
