Child Safety Standards (CSAE)

Last updated: August 11, 2025

1. Overview and Scope

ineedthis maintains a zero‑tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to all content, accounts, messages, media, and interactions on our service. Users must be at least 13 years old to use ineedthis and must comply with our Terms and Privacy Policy.

2. Our Standards Against CSAE

We prohibit and will remove content, accounts, or behavior that includes any of the following:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any depiction of a minor in sexual activities or exploitation.
  • Sexualization of minors, grooming, or enticement of a minor to produce or share sexual content.
  • Requests for, offers of, or trades involving any sexual content featuring minors.
  • Links to, or facilitation of access to, CSAM or exploitative content involving minors.
  • Predatory behavior targeting minors, including coercion, sextortion, or attempts to meet for sexual purposes.

3. Reporting and In‑App Feedback

We provide an in‑app reporting mechanism for content and accounts. You can report from the relevant menu on posts, messages, or profiles and select categories like “Child Exploitation”. Reports are reviewed with priority when they reference CSAE concerns. You can also contact us at [email protected].

4. Detection, Review, and Enforcement

  • We prioritize review of reports that allege CSAE and remove violating content and accounts.
  • We may restrict features, disable accounts, and preserve relevant records consistent with applicable law.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement and applicable authorities, as required.

5. Handling Suspected or Confirmed CSAM

  • Immediate removal or disabling of access to suspected CSAM, with expedited internal review.
  • Mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the U.S., and to appropriate authorities in other jurisdictions, as required by law.
  • Preservation of records to the extent required for reporting and lawful investigations.
  • Proactive measures to prevent re‑upload of the same content where technically and legally appropriate.

6. Compliance With Child Safety Laws

Our approach aligns with applicable child safety laws and regulations. Where legally required, we will make the necessary reports, preserve evidence, and cooperate with requests from competent authorities. Users must not post content that violates these laws and must not attempt to exploit minors on our platform.
